Fall 2008 Soccer
For the fall season, North Kingstown Soccer Association will offer a recreational
program for U4-15. (Dates of Birth: August 1993-July 2005). The season
will begin on September 6, 2008. Teams will practice 1 weeknight and have
games on Saturday. The weeknight practice day and time will be chosen
by the parent/volunteer coaches.
NKSA does hire a coach from Major League Soccer Camps to work with our U6 and U8 players and coaches. He will work with the U6 teams on Saturday and the U8 teams at the weeknight practice.
The fees are $35.00 for 1 player, $60.00 for 2 players and $80.00 for 3 or more players in a family. A late registration fee will go into effect on July 16, 2008.
In RI there is a fall Superliga program that allows players to play teams from other towns. In the past, NKSA has not put teams in this league because we think that the children should have some time to play just for fun. There is a question on the registration page, checking to see if we are interested in playing both. The fall Superliga plays on Sunday afternoons. If we raise enough interest from players and coaches by the date of July 15, 2007, we will enter teams. The fee for the Superliga competitive league will be $50.00 plus league and tournament fees. Fall competitive players are required to play in the recreational program as well.
Players who are true U16's (DOB: Aug. 92-Jul. 93), not playing
on their High School team, who are interested in fall soccer should express
their interest via email to info@nksoccer.org.
